Alice!! This is really nice! I too, I guess, am a fan of Carrol's Wonderland and the "Wonder-lesque" dream-like quality of the painting is just endearing!

i like the bear. he's quite realistic and fantastical at the same time. and his expression is so fun. i like how the skirt billows outward and makes her look like a bell just waiting to be clinked a few times. her legs look kind of awkward, but likeable in the horizontal stripes. you said her face didn't scan well, but it scanned well enough i think. her rosy cuteness comes through. colorful flowers just add to the light happy feel. the balloon string floating up reminds me of the movie "the red balloon" though. i hated that movie. yet i like the picture.

Thank you :) Someone else also said it reminded them of "the red balloon", I havenever heard of the film though, and I did not intend the string to be stuck on a balloon.
